The Grandson

The Story

In the busy streets of Madinah, a little boy noticed the crowd making way for one man.

People paused their bargaining and lowered their heads kindly as he passed.

The boy tugged his mother’s sleeve. “Who is he?”

She smiled. “That is Hussain, the grandson of the Prophet ﷺ.”

Hussain was the beloved grandson of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

When Hussain was small, the Prophet would lift him onto his lap, hold him close, and show him how deeply he was loved.

The Prophet once said these beautiful words about him.

Hussain grew into a kind and generous man.

When people in need came to his door, he welcomed them warmly. He shared his food, helped the poor, and gave without making anyone feel embarrassed.

To Hussain, every person deserved kindness and respect.

Hussain was especially gentle with children.

When they gathered around him, he knelt down to their level and listened carefully.

He never rushed them or made them feel unimportant. To Hussain, even their smallest stories were worth hearing.

Hussain always stood for the truth.

He would not give up what was right just because something easier was offered instead.

People trusted him because his words were honest, his choices were fair, and his heart was brave.

As the sky turned deep blue and the first stars appeared, Hussain walked home through the quiet streets.

He knew who he was, the grandson of the Prophet ﷺ, and he lived in a way that honoured that name.

He chose kindness, truth, and courage wherever he went. 🌙
