🌹 Fatimah: The Prophet's Beloved Daughter

Theme: father-daughter love • Free Islamic story for kids ages 5-10

Tonight's Story

Every night in Ramadan, before we close our eyes, there is something special we can do — something the Prophet ﷺ himself taught to the person he loved most dearly: his daughter Fatimah. She was kind, gentle, and had a heart full of love — just like her father.

Whenever Fatimah came to see her father, the Prophet ﷺ would stand up, smile, walk over to her, kiss her on the forehead, and give her his seat.

That's how the Prophet ﷺ was with Fatimah. He didn't just say he loved her — he showed it. In every greeting, every smile, every gentle moment they shared.

Fatimah grew up watching her father face many difficulties. People in Makkah were sometimes very cruel to him. Once, when someone threw dirt on him, Fatimah — still just a little girl — rushed to clean it off, crying.

The Prophet ﷺ comforted her gently. He reminded her that Allah was with them and would protect them. Even in the hardest moments, they took care of each other.

When Fatimah's hands grew tired from hard work, the Prophet ﷺ taught her something better than any helper — he taught her to say "SubhanAllah" 33 times, "Alhamdulillah" 33 times, and "Allahu Akbar" 34 times before sleeping. The Prophet ﷺ said Fatimah was the leader of all the women of Paradise. Tonight, before you sleep, try the Tasbih of Fatimah — the same words she said every single night.

Dua of the Night: The Tasbih of Fatimah

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ٣٣ ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٣٣ ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ٣٤

SubhanAllah (33x), Alhamdulillah (33x), Allahu Akbar (34x)

"Glory be to Allah, All praise is for Allah, Allah is the Greatest"

The Prophet ﷺ taught this to Fatimah when she asked for help with her hard work. He told her these words were better than anything else he could give her. Try saying them before you go to sleep tonight — just like Fatimah did.
