😊 So Everyone Can Smile on Eid

Tonight's Story
Eid is almost here! Can you feel it? New clothes, special food, family coming over, the sound of "Eid Mubarak!" everywhere. It's one of the happiest days of the whole year. But before we celebrate, the Prophet ﷺ taught us to do something very important.
The Prophet ﷺ made a rule: before Eid, every Muslim family should give a small amount of food or money to those who have less. It's called Zakat al-Fitr — the charity of breaking the fast.
Why? Because the Prophet ﷺ didn't want anyone to feel left out on Eid. He didn't want a single child to wake up on Eid morning without food to eat or something to feel happy about. Eid is for everyone.
Imagine how it would feel if all your friends were celebrating, wearing new clothes, eating sweets — and you had nothing. That's a feeling the Prophet ﷺ wanted to make sure nobody had to feel. Not on Eid.
It doesn't have to be a lot. Even a small bag of rice, a small amount of money, or a box of food can make a huge difference. The Prophet ﷺ showed us that the best celebrations are the ones where nobody is left behind.
So before you put on your new Eid clothes, before you eat your first Eid sweet, remember: the Prophet ﷺ wants everyone to smile on Eid. And you can help make that happen.
Dua of the Night: Dua for Others
اللَّهُمَّ أَطْعِمْ مَنْ أَطْعَمَنِي
Allahumma at'im man at'amani
"O Allah, feed the one who fed me and give drink to the one who gave me drink"
This dua asks Allah to bless those who share with us. During Ramadan, we've been blessed with food and family. Now we share that blessing with others so everyone can enjoy Eid.
