Tonight's Story

Some people think that important leaders don't do small things like chores. But Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was not like that at all. Even though he was the leader of his community, he helped around the house every single day.

He would mend his own clothes when they had a tear. He would fix his own shoes. If something in the house needed repair, he would roll up his sleeves and do it himself. He never said, "That's not my job."

When it was time to cook, he didn't just wait to be served. He would help prepare the food. He would milk the goats. He would sweep the floor. And he did all of this with a smile.

Someone once asked about the Prophet ﷺ at home. What was he really like when no one was watching? The answer was simple: "He used to serve his family."

Some of the greatest people in history were those who served others quietly, without asking for anything in return. The Prophet ﷺ showed us that helping at home is not something small — it is something beautiful.

He taught us that no job is too small when you do it with love. Whether it's tidying up, helping cook, or taking care of your family — that is exactly what our Prophet ﷺ did every day.

Dua of the Night: Dua for Doing Our Best

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatika

"O Allah, help me to remember You, thank You, and worship You in the best way"

The Prophet ﷺ did everything with love and care — even sweeping the floor and mending his clothes. This dua asks Allah to help us remember Him in everything we do. When we help at home with a good heart, that is also a way of worshipping Allah.
