Tonight's Story
Do you remember night one? The night the Quran came down from the heavens? That was in Ramadan — the same month we're in right now. The Quran didn't just arrive in Ramadan — Ramadan belongs to the Quran. They are connected forever.
When the Quran was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ, he didn't write it in a book right away. Instead, he recited it — and the people around him listened carefully and memorised every single word. Letter by letter. Verse by verse. They carried it in their hearts.
And here is the amazing part: Allah Himself promised to protect the Quran. In the Quran itself, Allah says: "We have sent down this reminder, and We will guard it." No other book in the world comes with a promise like that — from the Creator Himself.
And Allah kept that promise. From the time of the Prophet ﷺ until today — over 1400 years — the Quran has not changed. Not one word. Not one letter. Millions and millions of people have memorised it, in every country, in every language, on every continent.
If every written copy of the Quran disappeared tomorrow, it would still be safe — because it lives in the hearts of millions of people all around the world. That is Allah's miracle. A book protected not just on paper, but in hearts.
The Quran you hold in your hands tonight is the exact same words that came down in that cave, on that Ramadan night, over 1400 years ago. The same words the Prophet ﷺ heard from Angel Jibreel. That's not just a book — that's a miracle you can hold.
Dua of the Night: Dua for the Quran
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلِ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي
Allahummaj'alil-Qur'ana rabee'a qalbi
"O Allah, make the Quran the spring of my heart"
During Ramadan, we connect with the Quran more than any other month. This dua asks Allah to make the Quran something that brings life and joy to our hearts — like spring after a long winter.
